We were tasked with creating a 1x30 promo for Red River College. In under a week, I shot, edited, matchmoved, animated, composited, and coloured this piece.
Matchmoving was done in cinema 4D R18 which features a brand new camera tracker. I really enjoyed using it, as my go to tracker of the past (boujou) is old and unstable. Cloths were simulated using turbulence and wind and rendered as multipass EXRs.
I wanted to challenge myself on this project by diving in to the world of node based compositing. Fusion 9 by Blackmagic Design was used to composite the 3d renders into the 2d footage. Colour was done in DaVinci Resolve.
